Admission Process - Nursery to Grade VIII

Here’s a step-by-step guide to the admission process from Nursery to Grade VIII:

1. Inquiry and Information Gathering

Parents/Guardians can initiate the admission process by contacting the school's admission office or visiting our website to gather information about the school's curriculum, facilities, and admission criteria.

2. Online Application / Application at School Office

Fill out the online application form available on our school website during the designated admission period. Ensure that all required details are accurately provided. You can also acquire and submit the registration form at the school office.

3. Submission of Required Documents

Upload scanned copies of the following documents along with the application

Birth certificate of the child
Passport-sized photographs of the child
Proof of residence
Parent's/Guardian's identity and address proof
Previous school's academic records (for Grade II onwards)
A copy of the Aadhaar cards of both the child and the parents.

4. Entrance Examination/Interaction (if applicable)

Depending on the grade level, applicants may be required to take an entrance test or attend an interactive session with our faculty. This step is to assess the child's readiness and suitability for our programs.

5. Assessment and Interview (if applicable)

For higher grades, an academic assessment may be conducted to evaluate the student's knowledge and skills. An interview with the student and parents/guardians may also be scheduled to understand their aspirations and expectations.

6. Admission Review

Our admission committee reviews all applications, including test scores, assessments, and interviews. Admission decisions are made based on merit and the compatibility of the student with our school's ethos.

7. Admission Offer

Successful candidates will receive an admission offer letter through email or post. Parents/Guardians are required to confirm acceptance within the stipulated time frame.

8. Payment of Fees

Upon acceptance of the admission offer, parents/guardians are required to pay the admission fee and the first instalment of the tuition fee as per the fee structure provided.

9. Orientation and Enrollment

Attend the orientation program, where you will receive information about the school policies, facilities, and educational programs. Complete the enrolment process by submitting all necessary documents and forms.

10. Commencement of Classes

Your child will officially begin classes at DPS Nagaon on the scheduled start date which will be intimated during the time of admission.
