Guidelines for Parents

School timings

  • Grade I - VIII : 08:00 AM - 02:15 PM
  • Grade Nur - U.K.G. : 09:15 AM - 12:15 PM

Arrival in School

1. The school gates shall be closed as per the following schedule:
Class III onwards- 8.05 am
Pre Nursery to UKG -9.05 am
2. The students arriving late will not be allowed to enter the school. Necessary disciplinary action will be taken against them.
3. Once the child reaches the school, he/she shall not be allowed to leave prior to the closing of the school working hours.

Punctuality

1. Your cooperation is requested to ensure that children are regular, punctual & disciplined.
2. All students are expected to join the school on notified date at the beginning of the term after each vacation.
3. Students must report to the school on time. Latecomers will not be allowed.

Fee Payment Schedule & Norms

1. The school fee for one academic session is divided in four quarters: APRIL, JULY , OCTOBER & MARCH .
2. For all the four quarters , the fee must be paid by 10th of the beginning of each quarter.
3. Late fee shall be applicable after 15th of every quarter.

Birthday Celebration

1. Birthday celebrations are limited to distributing toffees to classmates only. Parents are asked not to send cakes or gift items.
2. Nursery to SR. KG students are permitted to wear casual clothes, while Grade I and above must wear their school uniforms only.
3. Please ensure that your child’s birthday celebration is confined to their classmates only and is done modestly.

Strict Guidelines For The Parents
To Visit The School

1. Parents are not allowed to visit the school on regular working days unless prior appointment.
2. Regular OPEN HOUSE would be scheduled for the parents to meet the Teachers.
3. Intimation of OPEN HOUSE will be informed well in advance.

General Guidelines to Parents

1. Please make it a priority to check the School App regularly for important updates and notifications. Additionally, ensure to check the Almanac every day and take note of the homework and other instructions given
2. Consult the school planner, date sheets, and circulars regularly.
3. Please address all communications to the Principal through the class teacher. Clearly mention your child’s admission number, class, and section in every communication.
4. You can meet the Principal & teachers during the visiting hours mentioned. Please, do not try to contact the Principal and teachers over phone.

5. You are requested to regularly check the school portal to keep yourself updated about all school activities. Parents must also download ‘DPS Mobile app’ on their mobile phones from Google Play Store for regular updates about the school.

6. Please, be sure to inform the school if there is any change in your address, designation or telephone numbers. This should be done in the format available in the front office.
